Continue 1D part 2

Then it is ‘Midnight memories and This is us’

‘The best song ever’ is this album’s lead single.

They had great success in British band history!

Now individual

Harry Styles

His single ‘Sign of the times’ came out in 7th  April 2017.

It became number 1 in several countries such as the U.K., USA and Australia
Niall Horan

His debut solo single was ‘This town’

It became the 9th place in the U.K. Singles Chart and number 20 in US Billboard Hot 100.

Then he released his second solo single ‘Slow hands’

Liam Payne

His debut solo single ‘Strip that down’ is really catchy and nice.

It was released on 19th May 2017. It was sent to US contemporary hit radio on 23 May 2017.
Louis Tomlinson

He didn’t do anything musical after the split up, instead, he played lots of charity football match since he is a massive football fan and joined the Doncaster Rovers and Celtic. He was reserved.

Doncaster Rovers

The last one Zayn Malik

I would consider Zayn as the most successful solo artist in this band. He did leave earlier than the other members.

His debut solo album was ‘Mind of Mine’

The album’s lead single was ‘Pillowtalk’

This album became number 1 in many countries, UK, USA, Norway, New Zealand …

It makes him the first UK artist to debut at number 1 on the Hot 100 with a first charted single.

Zayn also topped the Billboard 100 replacing Justin Bieber.

By the end of 2016 Zayn and Taylor Swift released a song together called ‘I don’t wanna live forever’

This song reached number 1 in Sweden.

He then started to write his autobiography called ‘Zayn’

On 24 March 2017 he released another single ‘Sill got time’ in collaboration with PartyNextDoor

So that is the END.

Please comment whether one direction is better together or separately.

If separately do also comment which solo artist is most successful.
